Matt Stämpfli Big Band

In 2017 the bandleader Matt Stämpfli (also musical director of the «Concert Band of Swiss International Air Lines») followed his heart and united great musicians to a new big band, which he affectionately calls «Family». Musically the band dedicates itself to funk, soul, blues, rock, shuffle and relatives - performing sometimes passionate and loud, sometimes gentle and soft: Whether melodies from Gordon Goodwin, Pat Metheny, Gil Evans or sounds from artists like Michael Bublé, Amy Winehouse or Tony Bennett - variety is guaranteed and your start into the new year perfect!
