Live Concerts at the Volkshaus

Concerts with tradition

Since the renovation in 2013, musicians from Berne and the surrounding area have been performing regularly, always on the 1st Wednesday of the month. The concerts did meanwhile become a tradition and are popular among many locals.

Poffet Trio feat. Sandy Patton & Daniel Woodtli

The Poffet Trio with singer and pianist Myria Poffet, does usually perform jazz as well as chanson and R&B / gospel. With the great and internationally active singer Sandy Patton (played among others with Lionel Hampton, Dizzy Gillespie, Buddy Tate, Cab Calloway) and trumpeter Daniel Woodtli (among others with Patent Ochsner, Jütz) the trio plays R&B and Gospel on a high level. – Myria Poffet (p. and voc.), Sandy Patton (voc.), Daniel Woodtli (tp.), Michel Poffet (b.) and David Elias (dr.).
